Well, the heavens opened up and a thunderstorm put a damper on our planned first event, so we took two dozen mini cupcakes, ten flatbreads and several dozen peanut butter oatmeal cookies to Sea Tea Improv to participate in an open rehearsal. It was fun to meet and do improv with the folks there. I was feeling a little rusty since I haven't been active in Improv for ten years (!) outside of teaching kids a little bit here and there, but it is starting to come back.
We didn't take any photos of the open rehearsal because it would have totally messed up the vibe, but I'm hoping to get out on the street, create some scenes in public and have something to show for it.
At Sea Tea Improv I attempted to explain what the Church of Yes And... is, what we do, and why we do it.
