Paul told the church at Ephesus to "speak the truth in love."
Since we don't have the letter from the church to Paul, we have no idea what problems or issues he was responding to when he wrote that.
From the context it sounds like he was telling people to not hold back when they saw their fellow Christians doing something not consistent with Christianity, but to be polite about it.
In modern day practice, this is usually interpreted to mean, "Tell other people how to live their lives, don't worry if you sound rude or mean because the fact that you call yourself a Christian means your intentions are loving."
A lot of evil and stupidity is perpetrated in the name of speaking the truth in love.
I'd love to put some good out there to counteract that.
Are you with me?
I'm providing some links to some positivity memes and printable cards that say things like "You Are All Kinds of Awesome." All you need to do is take these memes and cards and add a few loving, truthful words of your own and send them out into the world.
Then blog, tweet, photograph or video the results and post on social media with the hashtags #speakthetruthinlove and #thechurchofyesand.
